I'd like a 3 bay for triple mirror for same purpose, I just setup my QNAP 2-bay over the weekend with a WD Cloud as another backup location... I had no idea the "WD CLOUD" external drives were network not USB, kind of nice actually-their software not so much. For now I have my 'live' backup on a 3-mirror 5TB E3 system.

I like the Synology units. I have two a 216J and a 418j (the 216J is a network "landing pad" for temp storage and the newest 418J for the wife's work docs and family pics). I also just picked up a QNAP 4 bay from the Newegg deal just over $200. It's been awhile since I used a QNAP but I'm just going to use it as a media storage for my PLEX server.
