I'm curious as to how people are using their tiniminimicro units at home. I saw/read the plex and pfsense guides.
How are others using these nodes?

Some use them as KVM or ESX nodes.
Other use them for K8’s.

From a power point of view you can run 2 tiny nodes and a synology NAS for storage if you like got similar power footprint of the smallest server.
10w for each micro node and NAS vs ~30w for small servers like the HPE gen10 plus microserver and the tiny mini micro solution has more ram and cpu.

And they are mostly cheap.

I use one as a BlueIris NVR for my cameras. Got tired of having cameras impacted whenever I did intrusive work on my main virtualization server. Cheap and easy way to build a dedicated box.

I have three more that run a small Kubernetes cluster.
