I like the network ports but it's available in October. Kickstarters are most always late.

By the end of 2019 I don't think that'll be a great deal. Maybe it's small, but waiting 4 or more months is a long time. That's a lot of time to wait for a dwal. On a T730 or atom c3558. You can get EPYC embedded today too

Supermicro EPYC 3000 also has quad port intel i350 so decent option.

I like the idea of these boards but every time I looked at them in the past, late or not available and how is future support and how robust ? I am sure a proper mini-itx board from a server vendor will be so much better long term.

I run pfSense on a Qotom Q355G4 with 8GB RAM and a 60GB SSD and it's been flawless since I got it a couple years ago.
