Not sure which forum to put this in but here goes...
I'm trying to move parents setup do a virtualized (ESXi + Windows VMs) setup as it's too much work "fixing" their machines with various software/hardware issues that just seems to come up often. I have my own homelab already setup and will deploy a host onsite for them. Recently discovered thin clients and jumped down the rabbit hole and realized there's a whole different world out there. I played with using a spare Raspberry Pi 3 running WTWare and so far results are promising, but USB passthrough seems very finicky along with poor documentation etc.
Commercial Pi solutions like Stratodesk costs pretty much $35-50 per seat which based on all the recent guides by @WANg on HP thinclients I might as well just get a dedicated unit with all the features.

- Ideally under $50 on eBay/channels
- Dual DP or HDMI outputs
- USB 3.0 ports
- Wifi would be a plus
- Physical size isn't a huge concern
