I TRIED different linux, started with Redhat 6.1 back in 98!Netscape didn't work to well!
Tried other linux freebsd openbsd,windows.
A lot of you are complaining about centos changing,I tried Solaris 10,10 years ago, anyways they do the same thing setup io!,ftp, web pages, datatransfer.I tried Debian, lots of packages, you'll never use ,Ubuntu, didn't like all the lock downs you had to open,to use it.
Anyways they all do one thing, having you read or type your ass off!why complain, each has some different features, and with containerized slices, you have more setups to do.Solaris is a great os,comes with Java included, but you have to enable a lot of keys to get it to work!Have fun with the different flavours of linux, they all boot off the linux kernel.oracle linux comes with 8 gig of software!I just found a dark linux,28 gigs of cracking apps, how will you ever use it all!
There's a free edition of redhat server 6,if you look for it.
