Synology 218+ and 2.5ghz dongle

I have Synology 218+ Nas and a Sabrent USB to 2.5 gigabit ethernet adaptor. I have visited both the Synology & Sabrent sites and cannot find a driver.
Has anybody managed to get anything similar to this working and if so How?

Synology does not support USB to Ethernet adapters.

Your bottleneck is not likely the Gb LAN connection, but the performance limited dual core Celeron and limited RAM.

Might be a good idea to edit the topic title to say "2.5 GbE" instead of "2.5ghz", as those are very different things
