Did the Intel X550 series fell out of favour? That Motherboard has an Aquantia AQC107, and latest gen Supermicro Server line uses Broadcom NICs. Could it be indirectly related to Xeon D 10G X557 issues? I'm so used to consider Intel as the top tier NIC that I have issues watching alternatives.
