Hi,
I have a question regarding Fan control on the X11SCA-F. I have a 826BAC4-R920LPB Chassis where this board is installed. CPU ist cooled passively.
When I connect the three fans to the headers SYSFAN1, SYSFAN2, SYSFAN3 and set the speed to "Standard" then fan speed is lowered to 2700rpm on SYSFAN2 and SYSFAN3 but SYSFAN1 stays at 100%. As you can image it is quite impossible to work beside this screaming fan. All temps are normal. I updated the IPMI Firmware and UEFI to the latest version, did a factory reset of the IPMI and swapped out the fans to rule out that one fan is defect. No matter what, SYSFAN1 stays at 100%. If I disconnect it, then the other fans ramp up.
It doesn't make a difference if a fan is connected to the cpu fan header or not. I am pulling my hair out - please help.
Thanks,
Chris
