please advise
Code:
1. Save this BIOS update package to your computer.

2. Extract the files from the DOS folder of the BIOS package to a bootable DOS USB stick. Recommended to use MS-DOS 8.0
(created by Windows Millennium Edition and later) or FreeDOS.

3. Boot for USB stick into a DOS prompt and type FLASH.BAT BIOSname#.### to start the BIOS update.
you have to replace BIOSname#.### with the filename of the BIOS.

Took a time to find a time :) for this motherboard and update. Managed to do this via IPMI also found a way to activate for the update.

What settings should be put in supermicro bios under CPU so the Turbo unlock starts on all cores?
I found guide for regular turbo settings from supermicro but this doesn't give a wanted maximum result.

I have E5 2699v3 it's giving 2.7 all cores and it should be 3.6

Want to thank you for the help and prompt support back in October.

it is a server board, those settings if possible are not there.

only with Turbo hack EFI driver, there is a Guide somewhere.

Is updating the BIOS with your firmware sufficient to unlock all cores? Do I need to install a special CPU driver?
i have no clue, i have just removed mcu.
go to the special forum about E5 V3 unlock.

Hi. Were you able to configure the modified BIOS to achieve maximum frequency for all cores?

no. you need to overclock in BIOS or with tool.
Do I need to install a special CPU driver?
there is a V3.efi tool to oc before windows loaded.
read this thread from start to understand the backgrounds.
