Hello,
About 1 year ago I bought a Supermicro X10DRC-T4+ motherboard from Ebay. When I first bought it, I could get images from the graphics card, but I couldn't see the bios while booting. I thought it was something else, so I reset and logged in to enter the bios.
After resetting, I couldn't use the graphics card. I was working through the internal vga port, but the onboard vga had a contact problem and it worked by pressing the socket to one side. Now the onboard socket doesn't work at all.
There is no problem with the graphics cards, cables, and screen that I tried.
Spec:
Supermicro X10DRC-T4+
Xeon 2683 V4 single
16 Gb x 4 Huawei ECC DDR4 Ram
Based on the user manual and what I researched on the internet, I tried the following;
- I disabled the onboard vga using the JPG1 jumper.
- While I could get images, I changed the vga priority to offboard via the bios.
- I opened and closed the 4G encoder.
- I am using it with a single processor, there is only one pci socket for cpu1 on the mobo, so I couldn't try the other sockets.
I am trying to get my onboard vga socket repaired. If it is repaired, what settings should I make in the bios?
I don't know how to use features like IPMI or KVM, can I run it in this case? Can you share a how-to document source that will help?
