I think this is a good deal, but there are some limitations to what will transfer to an SC216/826. The SC823MTQ-R700UB is a server with front facing IO, so the rear window wouldn't work as it has a slot for 3x3.5" hot swap drives and no I/O. The riser is a UIO which might work depending on what you're doing, but something to be aware of.

Regardless this is a great deal

Pictures of the server in question from another seller since the listing doesn't have them.

Thanks for the info. Apologies, I didn't research on the chassis.
I read here in the past that "The Server Store", "Met Parts" and "The IT Mart" are related some how.

"The Server Store", "Met Parts" are definitely related, I buy from the server store a lot and all o my invoices are from Met Parts. That said, I have never been disappointed with the company, my servers are always what I ordered, working, and they work with me on prices and configuration.

This server is interesting, but way out of my budget, and what is the purpose of the front facing MB\slots? I don't see the need!

Normally the U-chassis are not compatible with "W" motherboards. Wonder how they managed this. Or if they used the proper parts to piece together but the chassis itself was originally a UIO based system.
