I have an X9SRH-7TF mobo and IPMI (Java iKVM) works fine when it boots and I can get into the bios settings and do some changes but once the esxi host boots up I could not login with F2 or F12. It looks like it esxi doesn't react with anything I input on the keyboard. I have tried it with my Windows 10 desktop and laptop and it's just the same. Any advise?

I think by default the F2 and F12 keys are mapped to a different function. You will have to change the key mapping. It is in one of the menus in iKVM. Dont recall where and currently don't have access to check.

Yes, default hotkeys are F1-F8 but i have already replaced F2 with F9 and while pressung F12 to shutdown/restart esxi host still doesn’t work. I don’t really understand why its acting like this. It looks like esxi doesn’t accept the keystrokes sent by iKVM. Not sure why it’s like that
