Hey all,

Running Unraid but not sure if that is super relevant as it doesnt actually get past to the BIOS Fully
When I went to install my Arc A380 Today - Its the Asrock low profile unit that doesnt need external power -The System fails to fully post and gets stuck on the supermicro splash screen and fans never spool hard as is normal but as soon as the Nvidia Card(External PSU Power Connector)is reinstalled it will boot normally

Interestingly I have 2 other PCI devices connected a 10GB Dual SFP Network Card and a U.2 Card Bifricated to x4x4x4x4 running to 4x U.2 Drives that are sata powered
and when the Arc is installed this cards lights stay out vs 4 green lights on the card - I have tested the Arc on my Windows Machine and it works so something going on here.

System Specs
Supermicro H12SSL-1Bios Rev 2.7(didnt see anything in 2.8 notes that lead to thinking would solve issue)
128GB DDR4
Epyc 7203p
4x U.2 Drives Connected to PCI Card
4x Sata HDDS and 2x Sata SSD connected direct to Mainboard
1x m.2
10GB Network Card Dell
2 8Pins Connected on board as well as the 24Pin

Where do I go from here?

Have you checked the bios settings for the pcie slot the new card is using (EFI, LEGACY, or DISABLED)? Was there any bifurcation on the slot previously?

I haven't checked yet
Little one is still awake and using Plex once she's in bed I'll reboot

Would the 1650super that's in there now just be less sensitive ?

Would that setting cause a failed post ?

Shouldn't be any bifrication I only have 1 alot Bifricated I think

Not sure if the 1650 needs legacy or efi but I did have a quadro p1000 that would only boot in EFI and would halt a post in legacy. Easy thing to check while you're poking around the bios though.

At the risk of sounding dumb... Have you checked to see if maybe it's sending the output to the onboard video after the initial logo boot?
I have the H11SSL-i, and it was doing the same for me with a GTX 1060. I found that it prioritized the onboard video in my case.

Ok ......so that was not dumb - I went into bios and was like all settings are correct - What is it needs a dummy plug or something and cant be used
Left the cable plugged int but booted with VGA - not only could I then see the whole screen - It actually booted - thats for not being afraid to sound dump and reminding why to keep a VGA Screen
