For you to check out: Supermicro X9DR3 F 4U CSE 848 24 HD Bay Storage Server BAREBONES 9271 4i RAID | eBay get some V2's in there and if it's really a 848 that's a low cost.

You could probably sell the mobo and LSI card for more than $550 + ship.
