Hi!
I'm a newbie here.
Just got one Super micro C2558 yesterday. I've tried to boot my mainboard but it shows System initializing ... and post code 15 and then change to B0.
I'm using 1 DDR3 4Gb just for testing.
Do you know what problem that happened ?
Thanks!

The Bx codes are often related to DRAM initialization. Make sure you're using the right DIMM slot, reseat the DIMM, try a different one...

Thanks for your reply
I'm refer A1SRM-LN7F-2758 DDR configuration as below table. Using 2x4GB (total 8GB) in DIMMA1 and B1 ?
Just tried to reseat the DIMM as well
I wonder do I need using ECC RAM ?:(

Possibly. The system firmware could conceivably not be prepared for non-ECC memory.

While the above is true in an abstract sense, Supermicro claims compatibility with both ECC and non-ECC.
Fortunately, After changing ECC RAM, BIOS boot can pass B0 Postcode. But I'm still stuck at F1 step.
After searching on Google I found some tip to fix

I checked the Supermicro BIOS POST codes found here:

https://www.supermicro.com/manuals/other/AMI_BIOS_POST_Codes_for_Grantley_Motherboards.pdf

And Suppermicro guide how to recover BIOS

https://www.supermicro.com/manuals/other/UEFI_BIOS_Recovery.pdf

But now I can't see and LED indicator from my keyboard and when I connected a physical keyboard I could not get the recovery mode to load.
My question is:
Can I use BIOS fw of A1SRM-LN5F-2358 for A1SRM-LN7F-CS045 (C2558) I can't find C2558 fw on Suppermicro rightnow

and second, how to fix F1 postcode issue.
P/S I tried to remove CMOS battery and insert again but couldn't fix it!
:(
Thanks!

Had a similar problem with a slightly different motherboard where the BIOS recovery just would not work. In the end I got a CH341A programmer with an IC-clip and flashed the BIOS straight to the chip.

EDIT: I can't remember if the following problem did occur when flashing BIOS or BMC with a programmer but: You might end up with zero-ed MAC-IDs on your NIC (especially the BMC one). This can be fixed via ipmicfg.
