I ordered one of these today, only just found this post now lol.
I made an offer for $180 and he accepted. I needed this to replace an old BPN-SAS-846EL1 I have in my current server.

You can pick up entire SC826 chassis with these backplanes and free motherboards and other items for $180'ish. I'm not saying it's a bad deal just you could get more bang for the buck that's for sure.
*EDIT* Sorry OP I thought this was for an SC826 ... that's what I get for skimming too quickly.

You can find them for that price with the SAS1 backplanes in them, the 846 cases with the SAS2 versions (which is what OP linked to) start around $450
