Thank you for making this available. I needed version 2.0 of the X8ST3/E motherboard in order to activate AES-NI for an L5630 CPU. I have no idea why they removed that option...Anyway, Supermicro support was kind enough to send me the version 2.0 but sent it as an *.exe on my gmail address. Gmail instantly removed that exe attachment. Thank you world and clever people in the 21st century surrounded by tech, thank you for all the safety measures, some of them idiotic down to the ground... !!

Thank you for making these files available.

Alex.

Haven't updated this in a while, so I thought it was time. Another ~600 files have been added. Surprisingly Supemicro is still releasing updates for certain X9 generation motherboards in 2021. A fair number of updates for unannounced X12 generation motherboards are there too.

Wow, just want to say that you have saved my life!

Decided to update my BIOS for X10SLM-F to v3.4 (flagged as a critical update), but ended up with my server refusing to boot anything using the UEFI:NTFS bootloader. Tried to find the previous version on Supermicro's website, but for some unknown reason they don't make older copies accessible!

But managed to grab the version I wanted (v3.3) from your very useful list. Thank you for maintaining it!

Appreciate this, handy for me to try and fix my broken X9SCM-F

Extracted info from the ROM using AMIBCP 4.55
I think my broken board had 2.2, which I haven't found yet

Latest on SM site is X9SCM1_106 01/06/2021 Supermicro X9SCL(+)/X9SCM Rev:2.3a

Thank you! Just saved my bacon with a new X10SRH-CF that came with bios v.1.0a from early 2014! WTH, this machine was just decommissioned, unreal the bios was NEVER updated! I had already installed a E5 v4 CPU on the board and the latest bios v.3.4 would not update via IPMI. Unable to find older v2.x of this bios, using your link, I found v2.0b and the update was successful with a v4 cpu on the board. According to Supermicro, any bios below v2.0 requires a v3 CPU to get up to v2.0 or above. Figured I'd go ahead and give it a shot as that was quicker than swapping in a v3 CPU. Success! Now went from v2.0b to v3.4 which is the latest and all is good! Thanks again!

I'm looking for old H11SSL V2 BIOS and IPMI files for a MB that I got second hand, but is misbehaving. Looking at the archive, it seems to be H11SSL V1 files. Any pointers appreciated.

My page has literally everything Supermicro has available, including what was linked above. The 2.0 one is there if you search for "H11SSL". Also 2.0a, 2.1, and 2.4, plus older.

Supermicro has been pretty good about keeping old stuff available. Oldest files are more than 20 years old in case you want to tinker with something obscure like say their Itanium 2 boards. Fun fact, those are EFI based and the first servers Supermicro offered to have update capability from a USB drive using something other than DOS (which were commonly referred as "pen drives" back then).

Thanks, I searched all the H11 entries until it wrapped, but I suppose I will look again.
I have had some luck with using sum to install the bios, and then downloading the bios config xml and updating the memory speed to match my test ram, 2x 2133 32GB LRDIMM, that didn't work with single 2400 8GB RDIMM. Still, want to do clean upgrade of IPMI, as the webui is dodgy, so I hope I will find more luck looking harder at you archive. Thanks.

Thank you both. RolloZ170 and BlueFox. Indeed the later H11SSL-I V2.x images are on the archive pages, they were just protected by the page not fully loading, so my search for H11SSL stopped before the 6000s. After I scrolled the page to the bottom, then I found the other references. And thank you again BlueFox for creating and maintaining the archive page.
