This isn't a special deal or anything, but I'm finding that a lot of Supermicro accessories are cheaper directly from Supermicro's store than on eBay or other retail places. Some examples:

HDD/SSD screws:

I/O shields:

I just ordered some stuff, and shipping was very reasonable.

Yeah...but so very USofA based. I got in touch with SM in regards to a RMA (sent from Australia to Taiwan) and getting some items shipped back along with the rma motherboard.

Seemed simple, they referred me to their store which would only send to a USofA address. I got back in touch with them about this and how it doesn't make sense for Asia region to buy from Asia region via the USofA and why send Asia region customers to a USofA site that only ships to the USofA.

Synopsis of their reply: "OK yep, that's the way it is, find a suppler".
Synopsis of my reply: "Yeah Nah! sort your customer stuff out

SM needs to get their act together regarding their store. Or they can hire me to handle their retail.

Not worth it for one or 2 small items because of shipping. Shipping is a little high but packing is first class. They will also sell you chassis parts but you have to go through their RMA dept.
