Probably a dumb question, but information is oddly lacking in the manual for both the system and the motherboard.... Anybody have info on powering a consumer GPU (GTX 1080ti) off the 8 pin GPU connectors on the mobo (for ESXI passthrough)? I know consumer GPU's aren't "supported", but I'm finding conflicting info on the suitable cable. Based off the manual the pinouts are reversed from a standard 8 pin GPU power connectors. CBL-PWEX-1028 looks like a straight through cable. CBL-PWEX-1017 looks like it reverses the pinout as I was expecting. Can anybody confirm this is correct and is there any other concerns I should be aware of?
