I need some advice on mounting a 1U server PSU inside a 2U case that's only made for 2U and ATX PSUs.

Here's the 1U PSU I want to use: Supermicro 350W 1U Multi-Output Power Supply (PWS-351-1H)

Dimension (W x H x L) 100 x 40 x 220mm
I've found SFX to ATX brackets, but from what I can tell, that's not quite SFX.

It's 80 Plus Platinum, 350w, and silent. Perfect for the low-power N300-based backup server I'm building. The only other PSU I have is an 850w ATX, which is absolutely overkill for a system I don't ever expect to draw more than 120 watts (on a bad day).

Has anyone figured out a stable, solid adapter to mount one of these in a 2U chassis that's meant to use an ATX or 2U supply? I don't have a 3D printer, but I'm open to having something printed if that's the only way.

I've used duct tape...dual sided adhesive tape...industrial strength velcro...adhesive standoffs...you name it.

As an e.g. this is one of my compute sleds with a 1U HP 460w platinum PSU. The PDB was removed from it's casing and sits on adhesive standoffs. The actual PSU has a <1"x1" piece of adhesive velcro sticking it to the sled. Removing it requires so much force that I'm not worried about it moving.

I have a 1U PSU mounted in a 2U chassis by one screw that happened to sort of line up with a threaded hole intended for something else, sure it moves around a bit and the power cord comes into the chassis half an inch, but it works. Double stick tape or a zip tie would have improved the situation quite a lot, but it's been running that way for years so I guess it's good enough.

Thanks for replying even though I apparently can't spell Supermicro. Fixed that. :)

What I'm hearing is that as long as I don't break any connectors (or the case), anything goes.
I'll MacGuyver something.

(I also emailed Silverstone to see if they'd help me. They want you to use an ATX PSU or a 2U PSU with the adapter they put in the box, but I looked at prices for a new, lower wattage PSU that would fit and nearly had an aneurysm. Prices have doubled since I bought the 850w ATX supply I have.)
