For anyone waiting on the Epyc 3000 line to have an actual board for sale: you can stop holding your breath because WiredZone is now drop-shipping some of the new SuperMicro board models, e.g. the M11SDV-8C-LN4F (Epyc 3251): Supermicro M11SDV-8C-LN4F Single Processor

It’s $704 before tax and shipping. I ordered mine on the weekend and it just shipped today.

Being wiredzone that’s probably not a pumped up initial price either. Was hoping for $100 less for the 8c models, that was wishful thinking maybe but you can get 8c if Intel D2100 with 10G for a bit more.
Then again the low power is certainly a selling point of the platform (and 1G helps) and if low power C3955 for same price with 1G is also not a bad option.

The Xeon D-2141i is $320 more, has double the power consumption, and roughly the same cpu perf. I think the price is amazing.
