These are probably pretty good in a hyperconverged setup right, 48 drives across 8 nodes or 24 across 4?

Just ordered another 16 to finish filling all my 2.5 chassis. I'd love to have higher capacity drives but that ain't gonna happen.

Did you put in an offer or just buy them outright? Getting my offers ignored again.

By ignored, did you mean the offer was simply let expired?

I put order for 24 last night around 12 am EST and this morning I found it was accepted. I then request total and haven't heard since.

This is my first time purchase from them.

I offered $15 each and it was accepted. I'm now waiting on a total.

Yeah so far it's just expiring.

Same here. $15 each for 24. Now waiting for total cost. I try not to push so not to get the 'bastard tax' that others had experienced before.

These could make as some nice proxmox boot drives. Was debating throwing some 200-400GB S3710's but that's overkill.

In for updates.

Re: waiting on final price. I ordered several drives only couple of days ago, listing was about to expire in 18hrs.
Seller accepted $15 offer after several hours but when I went to pay, I could not as freight was not included.

As a suggestion:
As I went through the EBay payment process EBay advised that payment process could not proceed
and in the shopping cart there is a link to contact seller.
I did this and from the same screen I left a note to asking to add freight so I can finalise payment.
Freight was added pretty quickly by seller, within a day.
If seller does not get back to you. I'd suggest you try this method.
Perhaps message goes straight through to person handling accounts process?
Cheers

So what happens if they don't send you a total? You've committed to buy but can't pay without a total. I requested a total via the checkout page and still no total. Why do they do it this way???

Hey @Fritz I don't know why they have not given you a total. I ordered mine on 7th July, received freight details on 8th July and today I have an invoice and tracking number. Unless with the sheer number of orders, yours may have fallen through the crack. (My invoice quotes box 300).

I got a couple of email addresses on my email, perhaps if you try to email them (you can try "tiana" first) and say
"Hi. Thanks for accepting offer. Please include freight so I can finalise payment. Thank You."
That's what I did and did not get 'bastard's tax'
Include your EBay Item number

My invoice was from: tiana@itrecoveryspecialists.com (with a C.C. to dawn@itrecoveryspecialists.com)
Good luck. I hope it helps

Me too!

My freight charge is very reasonable. For 24 units, my charge is $18 (I am with 300 miles from the seller).

My batch of 16 arrived today and I spent the afternoon transferring them to SM caddies.
In total I've bought 40 and all 40 have tested perfect. No a bad score at all. :)

My batch of 24 also arrived today and I did the same thing transferring them to the Intel P4000's caddies.
Hopefully I got the same perfect record as @Fritz 's.

I've not heard any issues with these drives on the thread. Looks like they are doing good bit of testing and very well packaged. So far so good
