you have bad FW image.I also have got the iocstatus = 0004 and when i try and install my backup it says iocstatus = 0003.
Any advice would be great. I was following the video on the f80 i derped and used his split and not my own split that i had made.
you have bad FW image.
you have to get the 13.00.08 version FW ( XP6302-8B1536 Firmware Update Package (16.00.01.00) this versionwill not work.)
you can use any 2008 FW to host boot the controller.
here is the link for the 13.00.08 FW
NWD-BLP4-400 Firmware (13.00.08.00) | Seagate
I've been selling said Sun Oracle F40/F80 in my location for more than a year now. I recently received a message from a fellow member from our local trading site about him finding a way to flash the card properly so that it would run in full pcie x8 2.0 speed.
In this site below, you'll find the procedure.
Converting a Sun/Oracle F40/F80 Flash Accelerator to a LSI/Seagate Warpdrive | Kenneth Kasilag
Credits go to Mr. Kasilag for the procedure and to marcan for lsirec.
It took me 48 hours to confirm his findings, as I am not linux savvy. A day of reading, and asking around I was able to understand the instructions.
I hope this helps anyone out there who wants to convert their Seagate WarpDrive.
it's harder to find but the files are still thereSeagate seems to have removed the firmware from their site
Ah thank you. Those links work. I can't access the US version of the website. Being from Canada it automatically redirected me to the Canadian Seagate website without support for these cards.it's harder to find but the files are still there
