So I've got one of those SE3016s. Its decided it wants to be in an alarm state due to a temperature sensor issue.

This is the report from the drives themselves:

/dev/sdap: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 25°C
/dev/sdaq: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 25°C
/dev/sdar: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 26°C
/dev/sdas: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 25°C
/dev/sdat: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 25°C
/dev/sdau: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 26°C
/dev/sdav: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 26°C
/dev/sdaw: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 25°C
/dev/sdax: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 25°C
/dev/sday: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 26°C
/dev/sdaz: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 26°C
/dev/sdba: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 25°C
/dev/sdbb: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 25°C
/dev/sdbc: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 25°C
/dev/sdbd: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 25°C
/dev/sdbe: ST3000DM001-1CH166: 25°C

But when using sg_ses, I can see the following

[3,-1] Element type: Temperature sensor
Enclosure Status:
Predicted failure=0, Disabled=0, Swap=0, status: Critical
Ident=0, Fail=0, OT failure=1, OT warning=1, UT failure=0
UT warning=0
Temperature: <reserved>
[3,0] Element type: Temperature sensor
Enclosure Status:
Predicted failure=0, Disabled=0, Swap=0, status: Critical
Ident=0, Fail=0, OT failure=1, OT warning=1, UT failure=0
UT warning=0
Temperature=35 C
[3,1] Element type: Temperature sensor
Enclosure Status:
Predicted failure=0, Disabled=0, Swap=0, status: Critical
Ident=0, Fail=0, OT failure=1, OT warning=1, UT failure=0
UT warning=0
Temperature=26 C

I'm thinking maybe something could be changed in the maintenance port, but the only cable I have with rj45 and db9 is for a cisco switch, and apparently its pinned differently.

Any ideas? Sick of listening to my raid alarm.
