As title suggest, can we please have https at least for the login form?
With vendors such as StartSSL providing free certificates, it should not be a big issue to setup.

Reasons is the usual stuff: people tend to use the same password on multiple sites, so even if access to this forum is not a big deal, it might be a problem for more serious services such as Paypal and whatnot.

I do not care too much on this but would someone really use their paypal and banking passwords as their forum passwords?

Agree, this would be nice. SSL is cheap these days. (both computationally and dollar wise)
