on a similar boat with this, it works fine for me (all the bugs included in my release and fixed in later ones are on functionality I'm not using at home anyway), but would be nice to have reliable version especially having matching original checksums (otherwise prospects of getting some quietly running background malware processes integrated into juno lunux distro kindly offered by friendly anons are not looking that attractive).

I need to upgrade a new srx300 box I bought from ebay from version 15.1X49, and got all the necessary firmwares needed to upgrade to 22.4R3 thanks to great members of this forum.

However Juniper website has changed and I can't figure out how to find a checksum for specific filename, especially the older ones like:

How do you verify the checksums for such files?

website hasnt changed much, the checksum been in the same place for a decade or better.

so go to Downloads ,

click on the pulldown that says JunOS and change that to JunOS SR,
then click the version dropdown next to it to match what version you have, scroll down the page ,
and right under download link on the right side, click checksum
and a popup pops up telling you the checksum for that image and match it
to your image.

Thank you for this extensive step-by-step instruction, once I changed JunOS to JunOS SR the versions format that shows is more familiar.

In JunOS it skips the last part of the filename like "S1" and I was under the impression that years back when I was checking last time it was showing them.

I was only able to verify the last filename from my list.

You are an authority to me on this topic so from your comment I assume that if it's not on the list then tough and we need to live with it.

Does anybody have any of these images can can confirm the checksums?
