This is OneStopSystems M.2 monster.
Capacity is 400TB.



Not to be out done we had SanDisk with a truly huge monster 512TB of Flash... don't you just want to take this home !

A bit more on the top m.2 system - it can actually accept LP PCIe AICs. Might need a bit more airflow but there is certainly more room.

On the second system, we were told it is SAS based.

How does OneStopSystems fit 400T into that? I see 66-ish m.2 cards, that'd have to be >6T each, and I don't see shipping m.2s over 512G. Does 400T require ~6 trays or something?

Ah, I think I see: One Stop Systems Introduces the First 500TB Flash Storage Array (FSA) in 2U Rack Space at the Flash Memory Summit | One Stop Systems It looks like it has 64 slots, each of which take up to 4 m.2 cards, with 8x m.2 cards coming. So, 64x8x1T = 500T. It looks like they're shipping 16x4x512G = 32T for $49k right now. Host connection is via up to 3 16x PCIe.

Better then hard drives, in my opinion.

Which was about what NetApp wanted per system when I was getting quotes last year - for 150TB.

Granted this seems to be host direct attached. But even that can be solved . $1500/TB for all flash in 2u ain't so bad.
