Something that should be stupid easy but is anything but. How do you identify which disk is the Hot spare???
I can find a line of gibberish that supposedly identifies the disk but the problem is it's a number assigned by TrueNAS and is in no way related to the drive. The GUI makes no distinction between a data drive and a spare. zpool status returns gibberish id for each drive and tells which is the spare but again, this gibberish isn't related to the physical drive as far as I can tell.
So how do I identify the physical hot spare drive?
TIA
