[SOLVED]
After some time I wanted to get the SPP and step up my game with my Proliant DL380 gen9.
I know I need to register for this, but I wasn't aware of the trouble that follows.

This might be easy for any company with a support agreement, but I'm not.
I'm just one personal non-business buyer with no support from the seller.

I've got the server, and it's under its original warranty from HPE.
I checked that here: Check your warranty status - HPE Support Center

I've also bought a 3 year iLO advanced pack licence, TS&U.

EDIT:

Got some hands-on time with the server and sorted it out.
All there was to it was a step by step guide in the provisioning tool.
It wasn't available before I had it connected to the net.
So now the server warranty is registered.

Also added the 3yr TS&U iLO Advanced Pack License and it got activated on the server.
But still not linked to my HPE account.
I need an EON number from the reseller and use that on this portal: Login | My License Portal
This will provide me with the missing SAID number and all should be ok.
Waiting for the reseller to provide me with this information, hoping all goes well.

Getting all the steps together was a bit of a mess, HPE doesn't make it easy.
Eventually I figured it all out from different PDFs and FAQs and best practices.
