I need to access two vlans (vlan 10 and vlan 20) from my windows 11 machine. On my switch I have a trunk with the two tagged vlans. On windows, I created a vswitch and then two interfaces. I set the ID on interface A to 10 and on B to 20. The problem is that in order for them to work I still have to set the vlan id on the physical nic (connectx-3) and I can only set one id in properties. So I can either access vlan A on id 10 or vlan B on id 20. How do I setup a trunk port on the physical nic in order to pass both vlan ID's to the switch?
Thank you
Solved:
I had to setup vlan id on the physical nic to 0. Doing so created a trunk for my virtual interfaces with vlan 10 and vlan 20 to use.
