Hi guys! I just want to know if Supermicro X10SL7-F supports Intel 4770k?

In the supermicro website it only says it supports:

Single socket H3 (LGA 1150) supports
Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 v3/v4, 4th gen.
Core i3, Pentium, Celeron processors

It doesn't say i7.

I accidentally broke my motherboard by pulling my Watercooled SLI videocard, in the process the pcie that holds the video card came off also exposing alot of pins ( wow its my first time seeing that, well at least i learned...) Now I'm thinking of buying a new motherboard and hoping it supports my old cpu which is Intel 4770k.

Cheers,

Vincent

The board only supports ECC unbuffered RAM. The lower end CPUs (like Supermicro mentions) actually support that. The i7 you have unfortunately does not as far as I'm aware, so you're going to be out of luck.

Thank you BlueFox and i386! Going to be careful next time, I thought you can interchange them easily but I learned the heard way. :(
