*** SOLD ***

Hi all,

I just pulled these from my Dell R740XD this evening -- box is racked at OpenColo Santa Clara, these were humming along just fine for 384GB RAM. As delivered from Dell appx 2 years ago. RAM is now safely stored at my homelab in Alameda, CA and looking for a new home or homes.

From my online Build sheet, Dell calls these "PXDFC" parts. There are 12 of them.

I'm seeing $65 apiece online, that seems too much, offered here at $50 a stick, ono. Strongly prefer to meet up in the bay area vs. shipping, although I have the box and bubblewrap my replacements came in so you could talk me into it if you buy them all.

I got the cool memory carrier / cake tray in the photos from the replacements I just installed. I'm not a RAM broker or parts dealer of any variety. I'm just a dude with a server and it was time for mid-life refresh. Plus I have a client who wanted me to test a great stonking 1TB Valkey instance for them, so, well, here we are :)

I have two Supermicro Xeon 1541-D boxes in my homelab that will likely run these if you would like something to test them in. You're also welcome to bring your own box and hook it up. If my Supermicros weren't already maxxed out I'd keep these for myself.

Wild. Bumped into these after forgetting about them for 6mo. Listed them on eBay at $80 BIN expecting to accept much less and it was snapped up about the instant the listing went live.

My scam spidey sense is yelling, but need to note these are SOLD for now. :) I assume I'll get back a brick and an item-not-a-described for my trouble. :D

Happy Thanksgiving.

3200 MHz dimm prices have increased by at least 300% in the last 3 months.

512GB optane sticks are indeed worth around the cost of 64GB sticks now, maybe a little more if the 64GB sticks are 2666 MHz, although the dcpmm prices have varied a lot more than ram. I would offer to trade my own but I only have 10x nma1xbd512g2s, which can't be mixed with the GQS and GPS models.
