SOLDIntel Server System P4308IP4LHGC $495 + shipping
An integrated 4U system featuring an Intel Server Board S2600IP4 supporting 10 I/O slots: two mezzanine (x8) slots, eight PCIe slots supporting up to four DW cards (x16) plus up to eight SCU ports, two SATA3 ports and quad 1 GbE LAN.
The specific configuration for sale consists of the following items:
A very well engineered system from Intel, with 5x80mm hot swap redundant fans, air duct and card retainer that also directs air over the PCIe cards. Very quiet under normal operating loads with fan profile set to "acoustic".
The S2600IP4 motherboard is the big brother in the S2600 motherboard family, both physically and in capability.
There are a total of 8 PCIe slots configured as follows:
Slot1: PCIe Gen3 x16, CPU#1
Slot2: PCIe Gen3 x8, CPU#1
Slot3: PCIe Gen3 x16, CPU#1
Slot4: PCIe Gen3 x8, CPU#2
Slot5: PCIe Gen3 x16, CPU#2
Slot6: PCIe Gen3 x8, CPU#2
Slot7: PCIe Gen3 x16, CPU#2
Slot8: PCIe Gen2 x4 electrical, (x8 physical), CPU#2
Here's the link to the S2600IP Technical Product Specification.
The onboard SCU ports are cabled to the 8x 3.5" drive carriers and the SAS2308 is cabled to the 8x 2.5" drive carriers. All SFF-8087 ports make for nice tidy cabling.
The 3.5" hot swap trays contain a plastic insert that also acts as a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter. So this system can be effectively used as (8x 3.5" + 8x 2.5") or 16x 2.5"
Fully tested with 2x E5-2670 and 16x 8GB DIMM (not included in the base configuration for sale). I did some quick testing for Audio/Video applications (mostly the Adobe suite) by adding PCIe sound card and nVidia GTX-670.
This chassis already has the high current power distributor that supports GPGPU cables, and I can include the 6+8pin power cable if needed (green/black cable in the following photo)
I have 2 1 of these units available for sale.
Other options (new, unused) available if required include:
2x Intel AUPSRCBTA Active heat sinks
8x Intel FXX35HSADPB Spare 3.5in Hot-Swap HDD Carrier
1x Intel AXX3U5UPRAIL Advanced Rail Kit
I think that most folks here either already have CPU/memory etc or want to source their own, but I can configure "ready to run" with CPU/Memory + all sorts of additional components (SSD, RAID Controller, HBA, SAS expander, 10Gbe, Infiniband, Video, Audio etc) if there is interest.
Be sure to check out my Enterprise SSDs for sale on this thread.
Shipping within USA or Canada (import duties and taxes are not my responsibility). I'm on the west coast (Portland OR area if you are local and want to pickup) and you can use the FedEx online calculator to approximate shipping charges. I'll be shipping from 97229, box dimensions are 33" x 22" x 12" and the approximate weight is 55lb (weight and dims to be verified by FedEx, actual shipping charges will be used).
Start up a conversation with me if you have any questions.
I've sold a number of big and small items on this forum, search for my username in this section.
