I bought this PowerEdge VRTX thinking it should replace my other servers - but I have decided otherwise.
Its a great "machine" - not quite as silent as Dell would like you to think, but not as noisy as yo mama or a normal rack server.
I have updated everything to latest firmware.
I have 4 PE 620 blades and 2x PE 630
Specs for everything I am selling:
VRTX Chassis 24 2½ disk/rack version
Chassis includes:
2 x CMC,
1 x Perc8 Shared
1 x R1-2401 switch module
4 x Blower fans + one extra as backup
4 x 1100 w PSU
24 x drive blanks

7x100GB SAS SSD (HUSSL4010ASS600/HUSSL4010BSS600) with caddies compatible with VRTX
Price for everything: 3000 GBP OBO, excluding shipping, paypal, bank transfer/cash
Power usage for the interested:
Chassis itself including 7 SSD's above is around 180-200w
1xPE m630 with a E5-2673v3 & 64GB RAM uses 60-80w idle
Chassis including blades weigh in around 80kilos I think, so delivery is on a pallet (expensive) - delivery in europe is around 3-500 GBP.
Location is outside Copenhagen, Denmark - you are welcome to come pick it up yourself.
