Yes I know SMB1 is extremely insecure nowadays.

How do I re-enable SMB v1 on DD-WRT 44715? I recently updated our main Netgear R7000 to the latest DD-WRT firmware I could find which killed off SMB1 support due to security issues, but I need SMB1 for my XP and below Precisions.

Upgrade to windows 10. - too many security flaws in windows xp/7

Chris
Ah yes, i'm gonna run Windows 10 on a Pentium III-M with 512MB RAM and a Quadro2 Go /s

That's not what I asked. That, and Win7 has ESU.

I had the idea of buying yet another R7000 to replace the 5-port switch I have beside my desk and use that as isolated router/AP for things like this though. Something to think about.

I ended up going back to Kong's R39960 firmware from 2019, Samba on the latest DD-WRT is a clusterfuck (those idiots also killed off NetBIOS support for whatever reason) and nvram variables to force SMB v1 don't seem to work at all.
