maybe I just missed it in the documentation, but does anyone know how to include smart data from the disks in the pool health automated email? It would be good to catch an overheating drive before it actually craters and causes data loss.

What OS are you using?

For example, Proxmox and FreeNAS have alerting features built-in.

Depends on the triggers for an alert in the management tools.
Napp-it for example displays smartvalues but alerts only on real ZFS errors, pool near full or failed jobs.

Currently you may need an "other job" in napp-it to read temperatures that returns temp and disk id on overheating. This would result in a job error and triggers an alert.

For a future update of the napp-it alert mechanism I plan to include more general and user addable triggers via alert or status scripts in a common or private script folder.

It's a napp-it installation. I'll look into the 'other jobs' a bit further.
