hello all, here is what is going on...
from a mac vm to a omnios vm i am getting slow performace using AFP, i am trying to restore a time machine backup...

here is the problem, before i did this i thought it would be a good idea to upgrade to the latest build.

it wasn't, when ever i open a afp to browse, pings start to drop off of the network, and my throughput on NFS drops as well, pings are drops on both interfaces...

is something going on with netatalk 3.0.4? installed latest vmware tools, tried e1000 and vmxnet3,

i'm pretty handy with VMware, but this still kind of escapes me.

where are the netatalk logs located? i can't find them either...

on the screen i get afp 2051, afp_alarm: child timed out, entering a disconnected state.

any ideas where to start?

thanks!
