SlimSAS to U.2 newbie question

Hi all, I just purchased a X12SDV-4C-SP6F which has 2 PCIe 3.0 NVMe x4 SlimSAS Internal Port (4 SATA/PCIe 3.0 x4).

I'd like to connect 2x U.2 drives using 2x CBL-SAST-1240A-85

Would this work? Thank you

I used similar cables - PCIe Gen4 4X to . Adapter,- 38P to - 68P Cable with Power, 75CM Amazon.com with ASUS motherboard to connect U.2 SSD to the SlimSAS 4X and it worked fine. Don’t know why SuperMicro cable wouldn’t work.
