Slim Graphic Card on x8 slots

Hi,

I broken my VGA output of my X10SRH motherboard.
I bought a Asus GT730 fanless (GT730-SL-2GD3-BRK) for use a 8x slot. In that way i did'nt loose the x16 (even if it's linked to x8)

But this card is really too thick, it's overlap 2 slots because of the heatsink.

Did you know a good small cheap graphical card that use a 8x slots and relatively thin for not overlap the adjacent slot ?

Physically, it's seems to be a x16 pcie connector ?

People also cut the end of the slot off, and the 16x physical will just run at 8x (or however many lanes you are providing it electrically).

I have Dell Radeon HD8490, it's x16, however you can cut off half of PCI board - there's no contacts. It's better to "ruin" $20-30 card, rather then expensive board.

But I'd take that^ x1 nvidia board, unless you need passthrough.
