Was wondering if anyone had experience with any of the Single System Image distributions. These are the systems that can virtualize a larger system out of a cluster of independent nodes. Commercial systems that I know of are the ScaleMP or SGI Altix systems. The only couple of open source ones are Kerrighed and OpenSSI that are current (relatively).
Looking at running some big memory jobs for a project and this could be an interesting solution. Also makes it easy for some of my users to just log into a node and run apps.
