I am about to take the plunge on a new NAS enclosure. The Silverstone DS380 (model number DS380B since I guess it's black for B) I think is the winner over the U-NAS NSC-800.

U-NAS NSC-800 = $199.99 + PCIe cable ($9.99) + 2.5" mount ($4.99) + $25.01 ship = $240
Silverstone DS380 = $150

I looked at the reviews online and the old thread which basically had the silverstone at $190.

Both Amazon and ebay have the Silverstone DS380 for $149.99. Since I have some ebay bucks and I get like 2% back for ebay bucks ($3 on this) it was a close choice. I greatly prefer Amazon customer service but newegg via ebay is cheaper.

ebay/ newegg - Silverstone DS380B Black Aluminum Front Door SECC Body NAS Chassis Premium 8 Ba | eBay
Amazon - Amazon.com: Silverstone Tek Premium Mini-ITX DTX Small Form Factor NAS Computer Cases, Black (DS380B): Computers & Accessories

I was really wanting the U-NAS but for $90 I can get a new PSU and it looks like the Silverstone has more drive bays.

I thoroughly enjoy mine. Its compact and still has enough room.

Couple of things - read the posts about the longer raid cards blocking one of the bays . Also, when I installed the PSU, is should have flipped it so that it pushes hot air out.

I found the DS380 harder to work with than standard cases, mostly due to its compact nature. For $90 less, I think it is a good choice.

One other item I was thinking about working on is mounting both a PCIe expansion card AND a second PCIe bracket with 1x or 2x SFF-8087 to SFF-8088 connectors. Some of these newer boards like the ASUS P9A-I can provide more drives than even the Silverstone can handle.
