So in the UEFI of this board (and most boards), there's an option to automatically assign shared memory to the iGPU or assign discrete values up to 2GB. I have 32GB of RAM which is plenty for my use case as this will mainly be a NAS home server with Plex in it. How much shared memory should I assign to the iGPU? The iGPU will obviously be used for Plex transcoding.

i think with a iGPU there is not a big difference howmuch you set.
The memory still stays the same place.
at a PCIe GPU the memory data must be transferred over the PCIe bus.

a RTX3090 i.e. has its own memory, the iGPU not.
shared memory is a part of your RAM that can beuse by the iGPU for display, store bitmaps and other stuff.
