Kidney line breached ahahaClosest thing off the top of my head is the TrendNet TPE-3102WS: 8x2.5GbE PoE+, 2x10GbE SFP+, L3 managed. It's $349.99 which is maybe pushing too close to the kidney line, but you might be able to yoink one for cheaper if you keep an eye on Amazon Renewed or eBay.
Same, is thisI vaguely recall there is a substantially cheaper Chinese one like you're describing- managed 8x2.5gPoE+1SFP+10g- but as of five or six months ago when I ran across it, it was only on Alibaba; no luck on aliexpress or anything.
Hey, if it'll do the trick for now then go for it, imo. Dual 10GbE should make it real easy to downlink to another switch as needed (gigabit PoE or 2.5G non-PoE, depending on which you need more of first). Now I'm thinking about this, a little fewer ports but I can still do it
Yep, but now I have a question, since I always read about this uplink but I want to be sure, can I connect my opnsense router to this switch via 10gb sfp? it seems logicalHey, if it'll do the trick for now then go for it, imo. I...hesitate to say "yes" like I'm dead certain from personal experience, but I can conceive of no possible reason why not. (Assuming of course that your opnsense router has 10GbE SFP+.)Yep, but now I have a question, since I always read about this uplink but I want to be sure, can I connect my opnsense router to this switch via 10gb sfp? it seems logical
Interesting, but Taobao says it doesn't ship to Italy, and furthermore the seller tells me that the interface is only in ChineseThere are also TP-Link TL-SE2109P (POE+) and TL-SE2109PB (POE++). Both are 8x2.5GbE + 10GbE SFP+. Price is a bit more than the one linked from alibaba but the quality is more assuring. Can be bought from taobao.
