sbs 2011 our whs 2011?

i want to set up a small server at home i want to run my movies and outher prog of the server i want to be able to have the outher pc in the house to connect to server and also be able to set up accounts so i can turn things off in the pc for diffrent users like hide drives hide control panal and do on what would be the best to get whs 2011 our sbs 2011

When you say you want to hide the control panel for people who use the server - are you intending on people actually using the server as a regular computer or are you thinking of it as being a headless box? I'm not quite following that bit.

nobuddy will be useing the server just the pc in the house will connect to the server and i will add the users in the server and have the server disable surting things on there desk top i dont want them to access i think like group policy
