Hello,

"format" shows all my disks connected to the LSI SAS3008 HBA in IT-Mode, but the sas3ircu tool doesn't find the controller:

# uname -a
SunOS tanker 5.11 omnios-r151018-ae3141d i86pc i386 i86pc

# lsipci

No diff with older tool version. Any suggestions for me?

I have had the same problem with one of the first 3008 controller that worked only with the sas3ircu tool from the same time not with newer ones.

Ok, then I have to go back more then two versions. But its a brand new storage server...
Will be back.

If this is a Broadcom (former LSI) controller, their sas3ircu should work.
If its an oem like Supermicro, check their downloads or contact Supermicro support.
