hi,

i have a server with an internal 2308 and i added a Fujitsu d2607 (A11), flashed now to p20 IT firmware.
i have 2 issues currently;
first,
at boot i only see a message from my 2308 (ctrl-c config...) . the 2008 card does not show up.
in windows both cards are correctly shown.
on another computer i can perfectly enter the 2008 config so i assume some BIOS address conflict ?

second,
only 1 port seems to be working.
since i cannot enter bios, i used sas2flash.efi -o -c 1 -testlsall to check the physical connections.
when i switch the 8087 cable to the 2nd i see the states are appearing.
i seems one port is bricked :(
its a card bought from ebay(Asia),
so sending back will probably cost me more than the card is worth :(

any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

thanks,
edit: if i move the SAS2008 card to my other pci e slot this card's bios seem to take over "priority" as now its the 2308'bios being no longer visible.

Chinese copy.. there's your problem.
I don't understand why so many people by these cheap knock off cards and then wonder why they fail.
Talk about sabotaging you own economy. When China rules the world it won't seem so cheap...
