Hi Guys,

I think, it is a good deal, if you are in US, 150 USD/10 piece is a fair price.

If you are outside US, it is not a good deal, the postage charges and VAT+customs are too much cost.

This + M.2-IDE adapter = great boot drives for older Toughbooks or ThinkPads!

It is good, if you buy an m.2 to SATA adapter for 4-5 USD. I have X400 128GB, works flawlessly. 72TBW is enough, this is the enduranc of these ssd drives.

Be carefull... with cheap converter that mostly using analog 5v to 3.3 down converter. Generate heat and not good protection.
I already kill some cheap down volt.and kill my esp board when the analog converter got wacky and shorted 5v input to 3.3v output

Get sabrent m.2 sata converten due using better pwm buck down from 5v to 3.3v. Is $8 but has metal case too compared cheap plastic.

This is an ok deal if you need an M.2 SATA drive.
But if you need a 2.5" SATA SSD - just buy one. After you add the price of a decent converter - you are in a price range where you can buy a new 2.5" drive. Personally I would just get those small Intel DC drives for under $20 shipped instead.

I have one in my server, It is the plastic one, but i do not have heat problem.

Some plastic version has pwm dc buck down. But cheapest from ebay or mostly uses cheap analog dc down which is not good protection fro 3.3v output.

i bought 2 for $5.98 cheap one that has analog dc 5v to 3.3v

Just be aware that no protection on ssd side compare with pwn dc buck down model.
