Picked up a pair of refurb 480gb drives from newegg and attached them to a X10SDV-7TP4F, but they are not being seen at boot by either the the native SATA ports or the LSI raid built in.
I normally have them in a 6 bay SATA cage, but swapping bays or connecting them directly doesn't change anything.
If I pop them out of the drive cage and stick them back in, they are seen by the bios/raid card. I have also noticed that unlike the two samsung SSDs I have in the cage, the lights on them blink yellow then turn green at the start when booting. The samsung SSDs, seem to just be a constant green FIW.
They do show up if I hook them up via USB/SATA adaptor to my mac or windows machines.
Any suggestions/tips?
