I have a 2node cluster with 2 DC P4600 2TB cache disks and 28 3TB SAS HDDs as capacity per node, server 2019 datacenter. I would like to add 4 Micron 9100 2.4TB as a performance tier. Can I add a performance tier to an existing storage pool? If so how? Or is starting from scratch the only way?

Nevermind. I set the cluster to not automaticly add drives and then physically added the drives to each node. Once all the drives were seen byu each node I set drives to automaticlly add again. Then I ran the following commands in an elevated PS terminal.

PS C:\> $PDToAdd = Get-PhysicalDisk -FriendlyName PhysicalDisk5
PS C:\> Add-PhysicalDisk -PhysicalDisks $PDToAdd -StoragePoolFriendlyName CompanyData

Drives were added as I wanted, Awesome.
