Hello,

i have a all-in-one installation with OmniOS. Today I had a look at the otherwise great running system and saw, that on pool, which is 20Gb big, only 1,6Gb are free.

Anyone can tell me what is filling pool?
How do I free space on that?

Thanks!

every new version needs more space.
20 GB is now more and more a minimum.

What you can do:
- delete unneeded Bootenvironments (napp-it menu snapshots - boot environment)
- delete unneded installation files under /root
- delete unneded logfiles under /var/adm

- if you have installed apps that are not needed: deinstall
optionally activate LZ4 on root and copy files to an empty folder and back to compress them
